Cannobio is a small town of Lake Maggiore which is just 4 km from the Swiss border . While not served by major roads , it is easily accessible from central Europe , both from our Peninsula . Thanks motorway tunnel Gotthard you get to Bellinzona , Locarno in the nearby , and then in Cannobio . From Italy instead , it is convenient to use the A 26 until Verbania (exit Baveno ) , and then continue along the coast road ss 34 in the direction of the border .
